From Sawdust to Show-Ready: Inside Trigger(House’s Fabrication Powerhouse

Why Building In-House Changes Everything.

From Sawdust to Show-Ready: Inside Trigger(House’s Fabrication Powerhouse

Some agencies brainstorm ideas. Some agencies hire vendors to build them. At Trigger(House, we dream it, design it, fabricate it, finish it, and activate—all under one roof. That’s not just a flex, it’s a reality that helps us win big for our clients.

Now —with expanded space, a bigger team, and upgraded tools—we’re officially playing in the big league. Fabrication isn’t just a nice-to-have here. It’s a core asset, a creative engine, and the thing that lets us transform crazy ideas into reality.

As CEO Josh Sheets put it:

“We have so much fun producing crazy ideas at Trigger(House. With the addition of full-service fabrication, we can literally pull anything off—from concept to concrete and everything in between.”

From Concept to Concrete

Every wild idea we take on doesn’t just bounce between designers and producers. It gets pressure-tested on the shop floor.

“When we welcome in a new project, that creative idea gets vetted through the fabrication team, and then it goes into a design and build phase,” explained Josh Sheets.

And the shop isn’t just humming with hammers and welders—it’s wired with precision. One of the biggest game-changers? Our new 10x5, 3 axis CNC router.

“Purchasing this tool has unlocked a lot of new projects for us,” said Fabricator Eli Oshidar. “When you think about carved logos or lettering, those things are typically very difficult to achieve by hand. Here, I can break down creative’s vision into cut files, run it the same day, and tweak as needed.”

That speed, Eli added, gives us more room for polish:

“Removing that extra step lets our work come out better, faster, and gives us wiggle room to make things perfect.”

Tools, Toys, and Total Control

The shop is now a full orchestra. Welding, painting, graphics, integrated tech—it’s all playing in harmony.

“Fabrication at Trigger(House is all-encompassing,” said Fabrication Manager Sashi Lyford. “Everything from our paint booth to our welding station, it’s awesome to see all those things working in tandem.”

Those “tandem” moments matter when clients are pushing for ultra-polished finishes.

“With our new paint booth, being able to bring a high-quality finish to any substrate…it helps tremendously,” added Shop Foreman & Lead Scenic Carpenter George Wegricht.

And it’s not just about looking sharp—it’s about matching the high bar clients set.

“Some of our clients are really design-forward and have particular tastes we need to nail,” said Josh Sheets. “Now with our new finishing department—paint, graphics, integrated tech—we can bring all those things to life without losing quality.”

The Tech You Don’t See

Every experience has a heartbeat, but sometimes the best work is invisible.

“Tech is designed not to be seen, but to be felt,” said Production Technical Manager Casey Dalke. “We’ll do whatever it takes to get that vision. So you just get pure experience. Trigger(House just makes it work.”

Built to Travel, Built to Last

Fabrication doesn’t end when the paint dries. The real test comes when those builds hit the road.

“The true test is when all those fabricated items get out into the world and in front of a live audience,” said Josh Sheets. “To make that happen correctly, we need to take really good care of packing all those items.”

In other words: measure twice, cut once, and pack like your life depends on it.

“We have a saying in fabrication: Five minutes in the shop can save five hours in the field,” explained Production Coordinator Noah White. “Just spending that time making sure the truck is packed properly—knowing exactly where everything has to be—makes me confident the job’s going to get done. And that’s something we really value here.”

Standing Out in a Sea of Same

What really sets us apart? The ability to deliver the impossible, in-house, without compromising.

“Our clients, and our creative teams, are looking to create experiences that haven’t been seen before,” said Eli Oshidar. “We leave our mark by creating exactly what they envisioned—at a level of quality they might not have expected. That’s where we really stand out.”

The Trigger(House Difference

Most boutique agencies can’t build. Most fabricators can’t concept or design. Most production shops can’t run a national activation. Trigger(House does it all, under one roof, with one obsessive team.

We don’t just ship fabricated items. We ship unforgettable experiences. From sawdust to show-ready, from sparks to spotlight, our production and fabrication team makes it all happen. And we’ll keep raising the bar—one CNC cut, one weld, one perfectly packed truck at a time.
