JBL: NBA All-Star Weekend

Challenge

Produce a slam dunk three-day in-store program to drive awareness and boost traffic to the JBL SoHo store during NBA All-Star Weekend with outdoor activations and in-store assets aimed to engage shoppers and bring home a big win for the brand.

Approach

Trigger(House scored major points with an unforgettable experience that celebrated JBL’s basketball ambassadors using a variety of JBL engagements. Experience elements included: a larger-than-life storefront balloon arch, a virtual 3-point basketball game, a Team JBL locker stocked with ambassador giveaways and premiums, a live set by DJ Wayne Ski, and a full-scale 3D-model statue of the NBA’s most valuable player, Giannis Antetokounmpo. JBL assets were leveraged throughout the space, creating an immersive JBL experience that left every attendee feeling like an all-star.
