Challenge

Concept and develop an interactive experience that welcomes riders into the exciting world of H-D 1® Marketplace—the world’s largest online marketplace for used Harley-Davidson® bikes—at motorcycle rallies across the country. The real challenge? Do it all without being able to showcase or sell the bikes onsite.

Approach

In collaboration with the Harley-Davidson Financial Services team, Trigger(House created an immersive marketplace experience for rally-goers, where motorcycle owners could get professional photos of their bikes, browse a gallery of live H-D 1® Marketplace bike listings in the area, or scroll through the site on digital kiosks to learn more about what H-D 1® Marketplace offers, including the option to get an instant valuation of their bike.

Results

The team engaged with 6,539 riders, activating at three rallies (Daytona, Homecoming, and Sturgis), photographing 443 motorcycle owners and their bikes (6,630 photos taken) in the professional pop-up photo studio. Bike photos were delivered to owners in real time, allowing riders to instantly create a bike listing on H-D 1® Marketplace using the professional photos taken on-site at the event.
