Ben & Jerry’s: National Ice Cream Month Press Event

Challenge

To create a lively and engaging environment in tandem with Porter Novelli for the Ben & Jerry’s team to reinforce connections with influencers and media outlets, following the COVID-19 pause on in-person relationship building.

Approach

Attendees were first invited to a Churray for Churros-inspired cocktail hour where they could mingle with brand representatives and other media/influencers. They then migrated to the flavor creation station, where a Ben & Jerry’s flavor guru shared their wisdom and guided them through creating their own unique flavor. The event took place at the Institute for Culinary Education, which provided a level of authenticity that reflected the hungry-minded spirit of the event. T(H handled all venue management, space design and setup, and event logistics.

Results

The Ben & Jerry’s team felt the press event was so effective that it will be used as a North Star for future media/influencer events.
