Ben & Jerry’s: Mint Chocolate Chance Influencer Kits

Challenge

Design and produce two tiers of seeding kits that drive social coverage of the launch of the Mint Chocolate Chance flavor and the Ben & Jerry’s x Chance the Rapper partnership that inspired it. The VIP kits should be limited in quantity and will be targeted to Chance’s celebrity friends with high visibility, while the other kits will go to media and influencers.

Approach

Playing into Chance’s request for a nostalgic kit that pays tribute to his memories of childhood “movie nights” in the ‘90s, Trigger(House designed custom boxes made to look like vintage VCR players and produced custom pint-shaped popcorn buckets, branded t-shirts, cozy blankets, and embroidered hats for the VIP kits. The influencer kits contained custom cardboard popcorn boxes, brownies, and, of course, neither kit would be complete without two pints of the new limited flavor ice cream. Kits were shipped overnight with dry ice to ensure the pints arrived fresh-from-the-freezer cold.
