Nordstrom: College Step Forward

Challenge

Produce Nordstrom’s first ever on-campus innovative, disruptive, and customized shoe experience. Started through a Snapchat competition, college seniors were asked to cast votes for their school. The university with the most entries would host Nordstrom’s shoe experience. With the final competition between five colleges across the country, we had just ten days prior to the event to be notified of the selected winner!

Approach

With such a condensed production timeline and five variable markets, we had to coordinate the full production needs and permitting in all five cities simultaneously. This included a rental of a 30’x90’ tent, lighting, audio, and also production of custom décor items such as the 2,300 square feet of flooring, DJ riser, and custom branding for the tent walls.

Results

At the winning university, a 2700 square foot experiential tent was erected from the ground up to include a digital runway, live DJs, reflexology, and a live appearance by supermodel Karlie Kloss!
