Challenge

Create the most epic, fun, unforgettable JBL-owned event over 3 days that guests will share and talk about for a lifetime, infusing the magic, music, and mystique of Las Vegas into every activity produced.

Approach

Deliver JBL Fest attendees something to remember by connecting with them on multiple levels: 1. Wide Audience: Implement show-stopping acts and performances coupled with branded takeovers and custom stage shows for all attendees to engage with. 2. Groups: Design and cultivate unique and highly shareable experiences, including custom underwater photo booths and misting swing sets for guests to touch and try as a group. 3. Individual: Offer participatory activities with big rewards to drive individual engagement.

Results

JBL Fest was the biggest JBL event to date, hosting over 500 global guests, media, and influencers with performances by Demi Lovato, DNCE, Flo Rida and more, attracting 5,000+ attendees over 3 days. JBL Fest delivered on all KPI’s, generating 1 Billion media impressions worldwide, 166M+ social impressions, the #2 trending hashtag in Las Vegas, and the highest-trending hashtag ever for JBL, activating all 4 JBL divisions, with plans to go bigger and broader next year.
