Angry Orchard: Rosé Kentucky Derby

Challenge

As the presenting sponsor of the 145th Kentucky Derby, Angry Orchard wanted Trigger(House to bring all things “rosé” to the Derby.

Approach

For the 2019 Kentucky Derby, Trigger(House built and produced three fully branded Angry Orchard Rosé spaces to bring their brand to life at this spectacular event. Trigger(House worked closely with the Angry Orchard team to fabricate a fully customized 20x20 footprint at the VIP Taste of the Derby reception that included a chef station for cider pairings and a bar for sampling. On Race day, Trigger(House transformed a trackside hospitality tent into the “Rosé Club” with branded food stations, betting machines, and photo op areas for guests and social media influencers. To extend the brand reach outside of the infield, Trigger(House designed and produced the “Rosé Plaza Bar,” where racegoers could buy Angry Orchard products.

Results

Angry Orchard left a blushing impression inside and out of the Derby grounds this year, successfully distributing 1,500 samples of Angry Orchard hard cider at an exclusive VIP kick-off party and generating enthusiastic brand engagement amongst racegoers.
